"I don't know" 
This mug is a play between the raw, earth-toned clay face and the dark, reactive blue-teal glaze flowing over the brow, most of my pieces at the moment reflect on Carl Jung’s core idea of the Shadow and the Unconscious. An example is this one the conscious ego does not govern the entire psyche. It merely sits in our unconscious trapped under our supposedly ingrained mindset.
The title "I Don't Know" represents the exact moment the conscious mind surrenders control and confronts the unknown within itself. When you come aware.

This is not just a mug it is a small sculpture with a purpose. These face vessels i create blur the line between functional and form. Each crafted to be used and designed to be kept. Coffee/tea tastes better when it’s held by art.
